The lost city is located in the middle of La Sierra Navada and close to the Buritaca river, it was founded in the 8th Century by the Teyunas. For this indigenous tribe, this place is considered as the world’s heart.
Now a days the Wiwa, Kogui, Kanhuamos and Arhuacos are the indigenous tribes encharged to protect this archeological place.
The only way to reach this sacred place is by walking for 4 or 5 days through the Sierra with an indigenous guide who will tell you all about their myths, beliefs and culture.
It’s an incredible trail to connect with the culture and the surrounded nature of La Sierra.
